What the 2008 Mercedes GL550 has to offer:
Mercedes-Benz combines additional styling and performance with the established functionality of the sport utility. The new GL550 does not replace the GL450, but offers consumers an additional level In the line of Mercedes' largest SUV.

The GL won Motor Trend Magazine’s "2007 Sport Utility of the Year" award as well as a "5Best Award" in the Luxury Sport Utility category from Car and Driver Magazine. The new GL550 comes fully equipped with the latest innovations in safety, styling, and creature comforts. On the outside the GL550 distinguishes itself with unique styling that includes fender flares, chrome trim, blue-tinted glass and a bold Mercedes star integrated into the front grille while the interior is comfortable and spacious yet refined.
The following are all standard features of the GL550:
- 5.5L V8 382hp / 391 ft-pounds of torque (47hp or 14% increase over the GL450)
- 21" AMG wheels
- 7 Speed Automatic Transmission
- Standard 4 Wheel Drive (4MATIC)
- 7500lb (Class IV) Towing Capacity
- Dual split chrome exhaust tips
- Power tilt/sliding tinted-glass sunroof with sunshade. Power rear quarter windows
- Seats 7 Passengers (Adults)
- Tinted fixed sunroof above third row with retractable sunshade
- Electrically heated rear window with auto-shutoff based on time, driving speed, and outside temperature
- Rain-sensing wipers with heated nozzles, lines, and reservoir
- Rear-window wiper with washer
- Dual heated power side mirrors linked to driver's seat memory - Auto-dimming rearview and left-side mirrors
- Power opening/closing liftgate
- Privacy glass for rear doors, rear quarter windows, and tailgate
- Chrome roof rails (with 220-lb roof load capacity)
- Halogen headlamps and front foglamps. Single red rear foglamp in left taillamp
- Bi-Xenon headlamps with corner-illuminating foglamps
- Selectable light-sensing headlamps
- Programmable daytime running lamps with auto-on override in darkness

nice collection of images about the merced and i like its interior especially its color and speedo meter. The most amazing thing i like is that i can put my cell phone into the pouch which is on dashboard.

The car really looks so good and I know there's just something special for me and a GL550. The dashboard is pretty and the interior design gives that comfort and a really fantastic promising driving experience.
