Every Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned (M-B CPO) vehicle is covered by the M-B CPO Limited Warranty which runs for 12 months, up to 100,000 total vehicle-accumulated miles, as well as the remainder of your vehicle’s 4-year/50,000-mile Mercedes-Ben New Vehicle Warranty. 

The Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned Extended Limited Warranty program is designed keeping all consumers in mind by allowing customers to purchase 12 to 24 months of warranty coverage (from the expiration of the M-B CPO warranty, within 100,000 total vehicle-accumulated miles). 

The Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned Warranty program grants you confidence and security in your Mercedes- Benz Certified Pre-owned vehicle until it’s up to seven years old or has a mileage of 100,000

Components under the Certified Pre-Owned Warranty;

• Engine and Drivetrain:
  Includes the engine, transmission, rear axle, cooling system and fuel injection.  If your M-B CPO vehicle is equipped with 4-whell drive, 4MATIC all-wheel drive or any other traction and stability enhancements (ASD, ASR, ESP, ETS), you can rest assure that these systems are covered as well. 

• Audio and Navigation Systems:
  Includes in-dash audio and/or navigation head unit, amplifiers, speakers, factory or dealer-installed Mercedes-Benz CD player and/or changer, navigation CD /DVD-ROM drive, satellite radio components, fiber-optic network components and antenna systems. 

• Steering/Suspension/Brakes:
  Covers the complete power steering system.  Comprehensive coverage of suspension componenets and the Adaptive Damping System or Active Body Control (if equipped).  Covers all elements (excluding normal wear of discs and pads), including the Anitlock Braking System. 

• Electrical System:
  Includes most motors, gauges, connectors, switches, sensors, regulators and relays. 

• Climate Control System:
  Covers the system’s air conditioning and heating assemblies and applies to certain items of the vehicle’s manual/ automatic climate control system. 

• Central Locking System:
  Includes all actuators, switches and linkages, remote transmitters (with the exception of batteries) and receivers for the remote locking system.

• Convertible/ Retractable Top Systems:
  The top-actuation systems along with roll bar mechanisms are fully covered. 

Other Components and Further Details:

Frequently Asked Questions:

When does the extended coverage become effect?
As soon as your Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned Warranty expires (and provided that the vehicle has accumulated less than 100,000 total miles), the M-B CPO Extended Limited Warranty coverage begins, with no overlap or lapse in coverage. 

Who will honor my Extended Limited Warranty?   
The M-B CPO Extended Limited Warranties are honored at any of the more than 300 authorized Mercedes-Bens Centers nationwide and warranty work will be done using Genuine Mercedes-Benz Parts. 

Will I be asked to pay any sort of deductible?
Absolutely not.  The M-B CPO Extended Limited Warranties will never ask you to pay any additional fees for warranty-covered labor, repairs or parts. 

Can I transfer the extended warranty coverage?
Sure you can! If you sell your Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned vehicle to a private party, the new party can enjoy the security of the Extended limited Warranty coverage at no additional charge.
